NSW: Elderly man robbed during home invasion
SYDNEY, Aug 20 AAP - A 72-year-old man was robbed and tied to a chair during a home
invasion near Moree, police said tonight.
They said one, possibly two, people forced their way into the home near Yarraman when
the man answered a knock at the door last night.
The robbers forced the man to the floor, stole his wallet and other money in the house
before tying him to a chair and fleeing.
A police spokesman said the man eventually managed to free himself and raise the alarm.
He was not injured.
