Scholastic, a children's publishing, education and media company, announced the appointment of Seth D. Radwell as Executive Vice President of the Company and President of e-Scholastic, the online information and e-commerce division.
Radwell, a veteran e-commerce and publishing executive, was most recently President, Marketing and Editorial Group for Bookspan, a direct marketer of general interest and specialty book clubs. Radwell will report to Richard Robinson, Chairman, President and CEO of Scholastic.

In his new role, Scholastic said Radwell will guide the growth of e-Scholastic, tapping into the potential of the Internet as a significant channel of distribution and e-commerce to expand the company's core businesses. He will also oversee the development of new interactive products and services on Scholastic.com.
